LMS offers ENRICHMENT CLASSES for first to third graders after school hours. Each session runs for ten to twelve weeks during the fall and spring semesters. Subjects vary each semester and usually include Spanish and Math classes.

Parent Education classes entitled AT HOME WITH MONTESSORI, for parents of preschoolers, and MONTESSORI AFTER SIX, for parents of elementary aged children, are also offered. Classes meet for four evenings and are scheduled each semester on demand.

Find Out More About Montessori
Is it Right for your child?

Lincoln Montessori’s Find Out More About Montessori class is designed to acquaint parents and their children with the Montessori classroom and approach to education.  It began as a ‘trial class’ in the spring of 2007 and has been well received by families new to Montessori.  The class usually meets in the late afternoon when the facilities are available and when children who nap after lunch are up and alert

Once a week for four weeks, parent(s) and child spend time together exploring the Montessori classroom under the guidance of our Montessori directors.  As the children become more comfortable in the classroom, parents are encouraged to move into the office area where staff and perhaps a mom or dad with experience as a parent at LMS is available to answer theoretical and practical questions about Montessori education.

If this is an opportunity that you might like to take advantage of, please click here to request a registration form or you may ask for one by calling the school.  The cost for the four week session is $70.00 per family.  The class offers a fail-safe method of looking into Montessori education and allows parents and children to see for themselves, with no further obligation, what Montessori is all about.
