ENRICHMENT FOR ELEMENTARY AGED CHILDREN

Small group classes are offered after school for first to third graders. These are based on the Montessori philosophy and approach to learning and are taught by a trained Montessori director. The students benefit from the small group approach which allows for individual attention while having the opportunity to explore and discover using some of the advanced Montessori materials as aids to learning and understanding. One to two classes are selected each semester from amongst the following topics.

  • Montessori Math
  • Physical and Cultural Geography
  • History
  • Geology
  • Art History
  • Spanish
  • English Language Studies

Classes meet at LMS for ten to twelve weeks after school hours. Individual instruction can also be arranged.
